Requirements for Norwegian domain registration
Norwegian domain authority require that the registrant must be a local company. But don’t worry. If you have no local representation in Norway, EuropeID will provide this for you with Local Trustee Service for Norway. We will simply assign a local Trustee who will act as the official registrant on your behalf.

If you have your own local company in Norway, the total annual cost is EUR 121.00
With the Local Presence Service, the total annual cost is EUR 121.00 plus EUR 121.00.
The fees include DNS service/web-forwarding.

Applicant needs to be a Norwegian company, and the administrative contact must be located in Norway. EuropeID further provide a Local Presence/Trustee Service for registrants who do not have a representation in Norway.

Applicant must verify that, to the best of their knowledge, registration or use of the domain name does not breach any third party's registered or unregistered rights to the domain name, and is not in violation of Norwegian law, and finally does not make an unwarranted impression of being connected with the Norwegian public-sector or the execution of public powers.
Proxy service for Norwegian .NO domain names
If you choose to take advantage of our Local Presence/Trustee Service for Norwegian domains, EuropeID itself, its local branch office or a local agent appointed by us will become the legitimate holders and administrative contacts of the relevant .NO domain names.
Acceptable .NO domain types:
Domain names connected with your company name, products, services and trademarks are all eligible for registration through our Trustee Service for .NO domain names. If you wish to register domain names associated with gambling, chat, erotic content, advertising or similar domain categories, such names need to be pre-approved on individual basis and may incur a higher service fee. Please contact us by email in advance at support@europeid.com.
DNS choice for Norway:
You can host all the .NO domain names on your own name servers. If you do not specify your nameservers, we will supply DNS for your Norwegian domains at no cost.
User Certificate for Norwegian Trustee domains:
As soon as the domain names under .NO have been registered, we will forward to you a User Certificate which specifies your rights and the terms of our providing the Trustee Service for Norway – including that you will be regarded as the legitimate user of the domain names, with complete authority to define technical settings and to control the usage of the domain.

EuropeID will be providing the Local Presence Service “as is”, and cannot guarantee against unanticipated interruptions or discontinuance of service. We cannot at any time be held liable for any losses sustained by our clients, directly or indirectly, even if we have been notified of the possibility of such losses or damages.
Register a Norwegian trademark!
Using a local presence service such as this will always pose some risks. We strongly recommend that our clients enhance the legal standing of their .NO domain names, by registering identical trademarks in Norway.
Warehousing of Norwegian .NO domain names with Trustee Service is explicitly not permitted!
It is expressly not allowed to use our Trustee Service for .NO domains for the purpose of acquiring and selling domain names. Exceptions are possible for certain generic type domain names, in which case a written agreement must be made between parties involved prior to the domain name registration.
.NO domain names with Trustee Service must not be used for spamming activities!
If you are planning to send out massive amounts of emails from your .NO domain with Trustee Service (over 50 recipients at once), you must notify us in advance and obtain prior approval.

How to transfer domain names to EuropeID?

- Enter your name and email address
- Press Send. A representative from EuropeID Support will contact you in order to process the domain transfer request

- If you have Authorisation Codes ready, include these. If not, you can provide them later
- If possible and relevant, please unlock the domains, so they are ready for transfer
